hi guys just wondering if there are any redcaw in clarrie hall dam?

Make sure you don't use opera house traps there. They are illegal east of the Divide due to Platypus being caught in them.

You can get the box shaped traps with holes big enough to take redclaw, but the maximum allowed opening in NSW is 35mm, still big enough to get some good size claw, but keeps the really big fella's out. Your also only allowed one per person. However you can use them anywhere.

Apparently you can have 5 lift nets per person but no idea if they are any good for claw.

Didn't bother with the traps but got 10 bass with the kids 4 on the troll and the others on bait. Biggest was 42cm very fat and healthy fish kids had a ball besides the rain squalls.

42 is a good size Clarrie Hall Bass
Dont worry about Redclaw in there, find them at Hinze, and then let me know where :youbeauty

haha paul i got a monster in hinze the other day. only got the one redclaw but it was massive it noe resides in my fishtank with the other monster one i got at maroon the other day
