anyone fished lake inverell? is it fishable landbased? can you camp in the reserve? looking for a spot for a short weekend trip with my young bloke,

I've fished it out of a kayak some time ago, there's cod & yellas in there. There are walking tracks upstream from the weir, but as with any larger bodies of water (compared to rivers), it can be tough to get to the better structure if land based.

From memory there is a toilet clock but I don't think camping is permitted there.
