Next thursday night see's the premiere of Once Upon An Endangered Species a film produced by Luke Barrowcliffe of Goorie Vision detailing the life of the endangered Mary River Cod. The film will be screened at the Majestic Theatre Pomona,Sunshine Coast. While talking about local freshwater films has anyone seen the film "River Rats fishing adventures:Mary and Noosa Rivers" quote "The fishing part of it seems very much aimed at bass fishers to the Mary and upper Noosa but the boys do a great job of getting people to appreciate all the wildlife in the river and creeks. They have good sections on careful handling of cod and lungfish, and on having a low impact on the natural enviroment in general." I would love to see this film so has anyone seen it or know where to get it. I got the info out of a copy of The Cod Line a newsletter for news of the Mary River Catchment Coordinating Committee. I will get in contact with the commitee but just interested to see if anyone has seen it. Cheers Pat.
