Just wondering how you all are going in the storm up there we had our turn last week here I feel for you all looks bad on the radar,be safe watch flooding water

And as usual, weather condition are overly hyped-up by the dramatic media...

Nothing too dramatic with this picture.  Just good steady rain.  Hopefully the river will get a flush out.

Getting home last night from work, took an extra 1/2 hour of rat running around banked up traffic that didn't know how to get through 3" flooded roads. Saw a couple of cars half submerged in low spots, and had to ford a spot with 1ft of water over the road. All part of living in the sub tropics...all the panic artists must be mexicans

It was pretty bad up my way, (Caboolture), we had a foot of rain in about 5 hours. 4 people killed, heaps of cars drowned, deepest floodwater  I have seen in the 20 years I have lived here.

Wasn't a lot better in Brisbane, work on Enogera creek near the RBH had a metre of water through it, and that was 3 hours before high tide. Lost 5 work vehicles, it came up that fast by the time they had moved the first 5 up the hill and came back, the rest had water up to the windscreens.
