Title: Albert River - Qld
Post by: Novice on October 24, 2011, 03:56:17 PM
Some pictures of the Albert River downstream of Kerry. The river here is best accessed with landholder's permission . Fish stocks are maintained through the efforts of the Logan and Albert Fish Management Association.   :thumbsup

Its great to see what river banks are meant to look like i.e . when cattle are excluded from grazing the banks.

Sorry to out your honey hole Steve , but when you get sick of catching fingerlings  , come up to Wivenhoe Pocket and get into the Bass that have come out of the 'grow out pond' :)

Cheers,
Dave.

Fair dinkum Squarebear, Sean Connery might have worn one of those hats but that pile below the one in the pic looks like Ivan Mallat.

Nice post Dave looks like a great spot. Your a lucky man there Bushwacker to have that as your local just far enough away from the big smoke to thin the crowds and if the fish are all little tackers why would anyone bother ;) Cheers Pat.
