Lake Dyer recreation update
« on: January 02, 2015, 08:28:29 PM »
Lake Dyer remains closed to all water-based recreation
Date: 28/11/2014   - Seqwater

As of Friday 2 January 2015, Lake Dyer remains closed to all water-based recreation activities due to the presence of blue-green algae.

This includes activities such as swimming, water-skiing, jet skiing, boating, kayaking, canoeing and sailing.

Off-water recreation activitites are not affected by the closure and the day use area remains available for picnics and BBQs.

In the interests of your health and safety, please observe any signage in place at the site and follow the direction of Seqwater staff.

For further information please see the Seqwater blue-green algae fact sheet
