Recreation Update for Lake Baroon (Tuesday, 15 February 2011)
Lake Baroon is temporarily closed to on-water recreation activities, due to high water levels. Signage has been placed at the boat ramps on site.
The recreation areas at Lake Baroon will remain open from 6am to 6pm, including the Spillway recreation area.
Seqwater will reopen the lake to on-water activities when the lake returns to the appropriate level.

Stairway access to Baroon spillway lookout closed
The steps to the lookout at Baroon Spillway have been permanently closed. However, the lookout can still be accessed by using the nature walk track which starts at the picnic shelter near the toilet block.
