Gone Fishing Day

National Gone Fishing Day is an initiative of the Australian Recreational Fishing Foundation (ARFF) that was created to encourage people to get outdoors, drop a line, enjoy time with family and friends by or on the water, and hopefully catch a fish or two.

It is well known that getting outdoors is beneficial to both your physical and mental health, and all fishers can agree that there is no such thing as a bad days fishing when your surrounded by those close to you and the glorious areas fishing takes you. So why not have a day that recognises and promotes all of these things!

This Gone Fishing Day we have support from many big names in the fishing Industry with Schneider, Rapala, Daiwa, Jarvis Walker, Halco and Pure Fishing all sponsoring the day with prizes to be won through our National Register.
