After purchasing a new rod I am keen to give it a spin. My mates and I all enjoy a good fish, so I have decided to organise a group fishing trip. Problem is, I don't know any good fishing spots. After searching around on Google I have found that Port Hacking might be a good place (in particular Lilli Pilli, Gunnamatta Bay and Bate Bay). Would this area be ideal, keeping in mind that we will be using light-medium tackle, we don't have a boat, and we aren't very experienced.
We all live near the Penrith area so somewhere relatively close (between Gosford and Wollongong or not far outside these boundaries would be great). Places with an abundance of bream and/or flathead would be cool, but not absolutely necessary.
