Well done PD.

What fly is that? What line / leader did you use?

Thanks Johnny,it was good to be able to take time to have a bit of fun instead of watching others do it,haven't heard from BK since last year, hope I do hear from him even just for a chat good bloke and a bloody good player even if it was for the enemy,

Fly- fish sizes- the size fades into oblivion when the challenge details are laid out in front. Each capture is merit on its own.
Cheers
Johnny

Yeh mate size isn't everything so they say, those fish were taken from very accurate casting close to structure, they wouldn't eat anything else but a small fly fooled them, just another arrow in the quiver.

Cheers Fitz, they were taken the day after you stayed here wish I could of taken you out for a fish, remember mate your welcome up here for a fish anytime, you left your dvd behind too, want me to post it to ya.

Mate it's a small boney pattern I use that suits those Lenthalls stocked fish, with the 2 sprig type weed guards under the eye of the hook they stop most snaging and don't effect hookup rates if you have a close look down that mouth you'll see them..
10 wht rod,Intermediate line and 60lb leader and you still loose fish to snags with 60lb,reaction time dictates results, great fun.

PD I left the DVD for you to watch, I can get another. What do you think of it?

I looked at a couple of flies you'd tied in your tackle room. I'm flat out fixing the fly on my strides let alone making something like that, I'm hopeless. I still find it fascinating to watch them being tied tho. Flinging them is fun too.  :youbeauty

Thanks,

Fitz..
