A reminder that the closed season for bass is from June 1 - August 31 inclusive in NSW & Qld rivers and estuaries.
Stocked dams / lakes are exempt from the closed season requirements but bag / size limits apply. If you're not sure, check with your state fisheries dept for specific information about your area.
The closed season is designed to give this great Aussie fish a chance to breed uninterupted. One fish being caught out a school can put a whole school off spawning, so please be responsible & leave them alone in true wild rivers.
