Voltzy,

Any size to ones you grassed?

I was up Kingham and got three to 56cm (two surface and one sub).  Was suppose to be doing a bit of practice for the bass on fly comp at Maroom next weekend, so I go chasing togas :-\  I was actually testing a few fly concepts I have been working on.  Only fished the early session as I had farm stuff to do and it was only going to get hot.  Dropped the pots in on the way up and picked them up on the way back.  Garlic chillied yabby tails last night for dinner :youbeauty

By the number of pond lice trailering in when I was leaving, I think it was going to be a bit busy on the water during the day?

I should have mentioned, that I hit one tree just under the surface (no damage :)) ) and saw a couple of floaters, so everyone should just be a bit careful.

Steve

Mate 50cm would have pulled this one up, all hits under the surface, we fished surface top and film first up. MOst action was after 9 for us. we fished Yabba.
Plenty of pricks on the water too. You know the ones who slow down enough so that there wake doubles as they pass?

DRJ- he stayed inside the boat this week ;D

Hmmm, perhaps I should have stuck around as I was heading back at 9.

I'm heading up there this Friday for the weekend, hope the weather stays kind.
Can anyone tell me if the road through the Mary Valley is open or should I look at heading up the Bruce Hwy?

Cheers Andrew

Andrew

The Mary Valley road is open.  I travelled that way and you just need to be mindful of a few potholes due to floods.

Thanks Steve. I enjoy the drive up past the dams & then down through the Mary Valley.
Bloody potholes, there are some about the traps that need their own postcode :o

Cheers Andrew
