Went for a daytime paddle yesterday looking for some Barra. Night was not really an option due to the strengthening monsoon and the likelyhood of heavy rain(as it turned out Cairns got over 200mm overnight so it was probably a good descision). Fished for 6 hours but in reality only had to be there for about 15min because that is how long it took before I got my one and only fish for the day. Very happy after this beautiful 111cm Swampie.
