All campsites and tracks are closed on Currawinya National Park.
Qld Dept of NPRSR advises the following:
This alert applies to the following parks:
Currawinya National Park
Due to heavy rainfall and flooding in the Paroo River all campsites and tracks in Currawinya National Park are closed.
These facilities will remain closed until 24th March 2014, when a further assessment will be made as to whether they are safe to reopen. Please watch this space for further updates.
It's great to see some areas getting some much needed rainfall.
