Veterans Health Week fishing day 12 October, Craigbourne Dam
Kicking off Veterans Health Week for the second year be the Veterans Fishing Day on Sunday 12 October. All veterans and their families are invited to this fun day to enjoy some great fishing and the company of their mates and family.
Held at Craigbourne Dam from 9 am to 3 pm, the Inland Fisheries Service are allowing bonifide veterans to fish the event licence free. There will be a tagged fish for the fishing competition, give-aways and useful fishing tips and information. An IFS officer will be on hand for the event.
The IFS is also donating 20 rods and reels in case to participants in case they don’t have their own.
A free BBQ with lots of health options will also be provided.
