Title: Lake Wivenhoe, Billies Bay access closed

Somerset Region Council advise that the bridges on Hine Road, heading into Billies Bay are now undergoing replacement. As such there will be no access to Billies Bay until further notice. They anticipate a closure of approximately 3 months. We will advise as soon as the area reopens.
The good news is, once the bridges have been replaced, and SEQWater complete repairs to the asphalt road inside the gates, Billies Bay boat ramp will be open to the public.
