Title: Dumaresq River
Post by: Jason L on January 06, 2013, 10:32:56 AM
Went for a paddle along the Dumaresq yesterday chasing some cod one last time before going back to work on Monday.
Caught four for the day and lost the same (lost the lip grips as well), but had an awesome day.
Garra lures seem to be the go with their wide sway action with three of the four cod caught on these (Tarki model).
Only caught the one in the morning and caught the rest in the shaded areas in the afternoon, with the last two putting up an great fight.
This fishing is highly addictive and I can't wait for next time.

On that trip I was working Garra's pretty hard, mainly the white Tarki, but have caught them on the purple Tera as well.
