Title: Warwick Region Fishing Report
Post by: Warwick Outdoors Sports on December 18, 2015, 09:57:26 AM
LESLIE DAM: Leslie Leslie Dam continues to fish well, with several reports of Golden Perch being landed on bait in the latter part of the weekend.  One angler reported on landing his bag limit on Saturday afternoon on shrimps.  There were also quite a few Golden Perch landed on lures, with most of these fish being landed in 20 to 30 foot of water.  Blades and Jackall TN60 are working well on the fish in the deeper water.  Anglers fishing in the main basin are still seeing the best results.

COOLMUNDA DAM: Coolmunda remains fairly consistent, with one local Inglewood angler landing some nice fish while trolling Little Rippers along the creek bed.  We received reports of some nice Golden Perch and Silver Perch being landed in the deeper water.

MOOGERAH DAM / MAROON DAM: Moogerah remains a little quiet, with only a few reports coming in.  One angler managed to land nice Bass on Friday morning on plastics.  Anglers trolling tight through the timber are also landing a few nice fish in the deeper water (approximately 5 to 7 metres.  A local angler reported on landing a few nice Bass in the gorge while using spinnerbaits.  He was casting the spinnerbaits hard on the rock edge and letting them sink.

RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine River has been a little slower than previous weeks, with not too many reports coming in from anglers.  There were a few Golden Perch landed at Murray Bridge on a mixture of lures and bait.  We also received reports of a few smaller Golden Perch being landed near the Lyndhurst Lane Bridge.  Water clarity remains an issue, particularly around the Pratten area.  However, one local angler managed 3 Golden Perch on Sunday afternoon from his Kayak on a purple Southern Cross hard body.  There was a massive 60cm Golden Perch landed in the Ballandean area on a Jackall TN60.

G'day Warwick Outdoors and Sports,

I have not seen any of your monthly reports since the last one done in December 2015.

Is there no information being put forward or are you no longer doing monthly reports?

Cheers, Bondy
