Title: Boyne barra
Post by: wesfish on March 21, 2013, 07:23:13 PM
Thought i would share a barra i caught last week while away on a 8 day fishing trip, My target species and locations were salt based fishing but when the weather stopped me from doing what i wanted to do in yeppoon , i headed to the flowing strong boyne river to play with the barra from awoonga.. i managed to boat 1 out of 2 on a soft plastic slow rolled. that was all the fresh fishing i done on this trip, the salt side was full of a massive rust water black jew , good tuna , solid gt on bass gear , heaps of mackeral and a great 103cm giant herring
