Title: Skinny water Yella Fellas
Post by: Stutz on February 03, 2015, 11:02:44 AM
Have been having some good sessions in a system just outside of Toowoomba so made up a little clip of last fridays arvo session. Yellas from this creek are always so feisty, i enjoy targetting yellas as much as cod!

Out the back of Meriingdan near Toowoomba mate, Cooby Dam overflows into this creek when its full, and this creek eventually turns into Oakey Creek

Yeah I do alot of fishing out West around Dalby/Chinchilla areas. It can be very very hard fishing but normally pays off. There is some big cod through the area, just a bit harder to locate them then other systems. But that's why I love fishing the area, for the challenge. Haven't caught anything out of the area in over a year but, It can get very tough.

That lure was just a 70mm Smak diver. The yellas love them.
