I suppose most of you already subscribe to " Direct" but things are changing;
 Here is a copy of email just to hand.

June 2012

Hi ray

Times are changing, and so is direct.

We're taking a new approach to providing the information and alerts you've come to enjoy by introducing a series of regular eNewsletters on behalf of the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.

These eNewsletters will replace direct from July 2012 and will bring together specialist topics in one place.

If you would like to continue being kept up to date on all the latest biosecurity, agriculture, food and fisheries news you will need to re-subscribe to our new eNewsletters.

We understand that some of our readers may have only recently subscribed to direct and we appreciate your patience in re-subscribing, which will only take a moment.

To re-subscribe to our new eNewsletters, please click here. Fill out the form with your details and preferences and click submit - it's that easy!

In addition to regular eNewsletters, we also have a range of new Alerts that will feature the latest developments as they're happening, for example, a weed incursion, an animal disease or a new pest fish.

We look forward to bringing you the latest information on biosecurity, agriculture, fisheries and forestry in Queensland.

 Some of their stuff is interesting but they also tend to pat themselves on the back a bit.
 Have a look and see if you are interested.
 You can always unsubscribe.
 Cheers
Ray

I dropped out of the email lists, you tend to get totally off topic replies from every man & his dog clogging up the in box.

I am subscribed to press releases and all new news items are sent to me automatically. We also have their news items automatically fed into sweetwater news topics again.
