Total Prize Pool almost $23,000 and still growing!!!
Canobolas Marine have again generously donated around $14,000 worth of prizes for the 2011 competition, including a Clitrex Trailor Boat and Motor valued at $8000, which will be given away by lucky draw. Other prizes donated include: Canobolas Marine-$5000 worth of Rods, Reels, Electric Motors, Fish Finders, Lures and Tackle, Western Tarps-$1500 custom made canvas boat cover and 2 Swags, Frank Cross Tyres- $400 voucher, Team Irrigation- $400 Voucher, BJ Crowley Plumbing- $1500 Cash to be awarded as $500 Cash biggest Cod Adult, $500 Cash biggest Golden Perch Adult, $250 Cash Biggest Cod Junior, $250 Cash biggest Golden Perch Junior,$1000 worth of Car and Transmission Services and wheel alignments from Tom Watkinson’s Wheel Alignment and Dubbo Transmission Services, 2 Nokia Mobile Phones from OneZero Dubbo,$1800 Holiday accommodation package donated by Peter and Wendy Hood, and Lure Packs from JD Lures.

Last year’s Easter time event saw 535 anglers take to the water, and secured the purchase of 16,528 Murray Cod and 14,545 Golden Perch, which will be released into Lake Burrendong and The Macquarie River in Febuary and March. The release of these fingerlings will take the total number of fingerlings released by the IWRA, since its establishment in 2008, to 80,044, some $33,000 worth.
