Electric motors approved on Pejar Dam

Community effort has persuaded Goulburn Mulwaree Council to allow electric motors on watercraft on Pejar Dam near Goulburn. Numerous submissions were made by local and other NSW anglers and angling organisations including the Recreational Fishing Alliance of NSW. A total of 15 submissions from industry and government was received by the Council - all broadly supportive of the idea - as well as a petition of 377 signatures organised by the local Tackle World store.
We understand there will also be a review of fishing regulations on Sooley Dam in the near future, depending on how things turn out at Pejar Dam.
