Title: Anyone fished Ewen Maddock Dam lately ?
Post by: 4weightfanatic on December 04, 2011, 05:36:12 PM
I intend to join some members of the Brisbane Kayak Fishing Club next Sunday morning to fish EMD hopefully to snaffle a Toga on surface fly and just maybe a bass but the Toga will be my main aim. Just wondering has anyone had any success in there of late especially since the weather has warmed up ? Also has any weed been removed from the southern end as it looked like it as I drove past on the way home from Conondale yesterday - it may have been the angle of the light but it looked like just lilies and not the cabomba thick as carpet like it was back in September this year. Any info would be appreciated. Cheers Pat.

Cheers Dave nothing ventured nothing gained. With the reported activity of Toga up at Borumba lately hopefully EMD Togas will be active considering it is shallower and should be warmer - only one way to find out. Cheers Pat.

We have a meeting tomorrow night and I'm pretty sure a couple of the boys may have gone there over the weekend.

Nothing ventured nothing gained, let us know how you go no matter what you catch please. :youbeauty

Cheers Dave
