I've seen mirage drives and peddle prop units used, no one has ever questioned either.

The rules are here:

For Ewen Maddock it says, "Boating - non powered"

This was a question that I put to SEQ Water to prior to the stocking groups inaugural, Ewen Maddock Fish Stockers Challenge this year back in February and was not overlooked lightly.

I was informed by Recreational SEQ Water Officials via an email correspondence that as long as the angling kayaker with such powered drives respected the reason why these vessels shouldn't be used amongst the weed and that they stayed clear of the noxious aquatic vegetation when powering the vessel, they had no problem with these types of driven vessel being used on EMD.

Cheers Dave

There isn't but if you belong to the rowing club you can row but definatly no watercraft fishing allowed.I personaly feel very strongly that skiboats/rowing boats are permited to use the lake where as non powered boats are not allowed to fish there,There should be a way of allowing fishing boats axcess to say the upper reaches of the lake that skiers rowers dont use :youbeauty

Very inconsistent of SEQH2O
Can't put a powered boat including electric on Ewen Maddock Dam because of cabomba weed, but you can run electric on Lake Macdonald which has the same weed, and you can run a ski boat on Lake Kurwongbah which also has the same weed.

Where does SEQWater say it has to be consistant?  We're still waiting for the results of the recreation review to be published Crackers.  Maybe this year?  I have heard a whisper that yet another review will happen soon.  It seems if you don't like the answers you just hush it up and have another review until you get the answer you want, or until people decide it's a waste of time filling out your stupid forms.  Never have i met a more incompetent collection of bumbling fools.

Gee Dale you are getting a bit milder as you get older.
It goes all the way to the top with the minister convening meetings with local Members, councills and newspapers and making grandiose statements about the future of local dam and then three weeks later stating that he was misreported. Only thing local reporter has it all on tape.
Cheers
