Title: Severe Tropical Cyclone Marcia
Post by: Sweetwater on February 20, 2015, 12:06:28 AM
Good luck to our friends in Central Qld with Severe Tropical Cyclone Marcia about to land on them. The rain is needed in some areas but I'm sure the good people at places like Bundaberg are not looking forward to another flood.... fingers crossed.

With any luck, this rain event should clear the Brisbane River of that water lettuce.

Not much extra flow in the Brisbane River, slight brown colour that's all. Drove past Lockyer creek today at Patrick Estate, still plenty of water lettuce in there, i.e O'reillys Weir. Need a moderate flood in the Lockyer for it to clear it out.

You can now see a lot of that lettuce in the Bremer from the highway bridge
