g'day there

g day there just thought i'd introduce myself. I have be fishing for years on and off but now that i have a ute i want too try and make it more often :). I live in toowoomba and am wondering what are my options as i dont have access too a boat at this stage. (hoping too change that soon) any good fishing spots nearby??? would love too hear some good fishing stories around this area cheers

Hi falcon,
Got to say that's an unusual usernmae for a fishing site but welcome all the same. I can't really help much with the toowoomba area, although a trip down to Glen Lyon might be worth while. You could also check on some of the TSR's (Travelling Stock Routes) in south east Queensland, particularly those along the Dumaresq River where you might get a shot at a Cod or Yella. Most of the TSR's have water access and should be OK to get your ute in.

thanks mate. yea i thought it would be something different too have a user name after me ute. couldnt really think of any name that would suit me fishing wise. think i'll head out that way 2morro give it a go. cheers mate i'm michael by the way

that will be my next fishing trip!!! :thanks I drove out too ballendean and had a bit of a fish at accomodation creek got a few bites but didnt catch anything. was a nice spot there thou. might go back sometime
