Time is running out to nominate somebody for their contribution to the outdoor sector.

Do you know a person or organisation who you believe is doing a good job and should receive recognition for their work? Nominations close on Friday 27th September so take the time to nominate them today.

The Awards provide the opportunity for organisations, individuals, programs and policies related to the outdoor sector, to be honoured for the contributions that they make. Help us, help everyone celebrate the work the sector is doing.

Who can Nominate?
Anyone. You can nominate yourself or your organisation/ club; or you can nominate others.

Why should you bother to nominate?
Because people are doing wonderful things in our sector, but unless we let others know they cannot appreciate the outcomes that are being achieved or learn how to enhance their own contributions in the sector.

How do I nominate?
Open the appropriate Nomination Form, fill in the sections as indicated, save your form and email it to QORF with any supporting documents. Easy!

How long will it take?
That depends how detailed you choose to be, but 30 minutes of your day should be sufficient to explain who/ what you are nominating, why they are deserving, and how the nominee contributes well to the community they service.

We look forward to receiving your nominations - the winners will be announced at the Queensland Outdoor Recreation Awards Dinner on Friday October 25 at The Greek Club in South Brisbane. Tickets for the Awards Dinner are available now and we encourage you all to attend and help celebrate the outstanding work being done within our sector.
