Title: Wild Bass Surface Action
Post by: Bracey on September 02, 2012, 10:02:44 AM
G'day all,

I did manage to open my wild Bass account yesterday in two catchment areas with a total of 15 Australian Bass caught and released at an average length of about 38cm, the largest being approximately 40cm in length.

The creeks were the lowest I've seen them, in what seems to be years and the water clearity is unbelievable which rendered a bit difficult to lure the Bass from their snags. At times we were sight casting for 'em which was exceptional.

I only had one minor accident, falling off a large laydown that crossed the entire creek after a dead branch snapped that was holding my weight as I tried to position myself before climbing down to the bank below. My ego, leg and stomach are a bit bruised and scared after falling onto a pile of jagged upright sticks where I found myself pulling the tip of one branch out of my leg before trudging onwards.

How to lose a brand new Pontoon21 Loco Perrito 65DW lure in seconds!
