Need an upper body workout? Try O'Sheas Crossing. I launched from there last friday and headed north. Tried there a few years ago and with a lot less water, you couldn't get far. Plenty of water now, and headed upstream to check out a few snags. Came back with arms that felt like they had been stretched. There were so many large catfish up there that I am worn out from pulling them in. It was a hell of a workout. Dead set, my arms were sore all weekend.
Managed to land a couple of yellowbelly, but considering I was on the water for 8 hours, it's a pretty slack tally.
If you wanted to introduce a kid to kayaking fishing, you would be sure of them catching something, if you don't mind what.

Those Catfish go hard mate, makes you think you got the Unicorn by the tail.

Hahaha .... no secrets here anymore Sel. Mind you, I just ordered 4 spinners from Fitzy. They might be my next secret weapon ;)
Looks like we will be fishing the odd Saturday ( previously fridays only ) , so who knows, maybe we can see you and some others on the water occassionally.
Cheers
