Pic of a Bass caught on Australia day evening in a local stream.
Had this bit of sash cord through its gills, not sure how it got there but suspect it may have escaped a tether with the cord going into its mouth and back out the gills.
Seemed to be coping with it, no apparent damage, cut the cord and off it went.
cheers
Steve.

Yeh mate well done, I don't suppose it looked like a bit of net did it? Some years back a bunch of clowns decided to put some square hooks across the Clarence about the Gorge. Buggered the fishing there for a while.
Cheers,
JD

Lucky fish that one. Caught twice and released twice

I know a few who use blind cord for tethering, tough and doesn't burn the hands! Obviously doesn't worry the fish to much.
