Title: Daughters first Silver Perch
Post by: Binder on June 28, 2011, 05:16:38 PM
Took Daughter out on NPD to check my shrimp traps this morning.
Spent a couple of hours parked over the old rush creek bridge (now submerged) dangling live shrimp.

Daughter came up with this fella, 40cm Silver Perch, measured, photographed and sent home to tell his mates about the free feed!  ;D

Have to stop whinging about stocking them now we have actually caught one!

Awesome looking Silver Perch there  :thumbsup

They have a place in many mixed fisheries, many of the opponents to stocking them may not have caught them or find it too hard. Pound for pound they're good fighters.  :thumbsup

fitz..

Nice Silver  :thumbsup

I caught a lot of Silver Perch in NPD on lures when I used to live down that way.

Cheers
