Post by: PeteyGee on April 29, 2016, 04:06:27 PM
Hey guys and girls I am new here to this forum so sorry if I did post in the wrong place
My name is Peter :)
I have been down to twin bridges near fernvale and I went for a fish I am new to fresgwater fishing and im located at coominya so twin bridges is very close to me and I was wondering if I could get a few pointers as to the land based fishing as to what baits to use, hook sizes, what pound line I should have on my rod and so on.. Like I said im new and any help would be great although it doesn't look tht deep at twin bridges can anyone recommend a good spot at or around twin bridges? And also I was wondering about those freshwater shrimp/prawn looking things are they good bait to use or should I stick with garden worms and bread ? Thanks everyone

Yah mate just up from the two small bridges it gets deeper ,on other side where there's some dirt tracks down to river , we usually go allright on tweed prawn or phillchard from servo . I would recommend 8 pound line fairly light line but strong enough to get the job done.
Cheers joseph
