« on: October 30, 2014, 01:40:07 PM »
Details on SEQ Website,Here is list of outcomes.

No changes to leccy or paddle or sale only policy.
No changes to Stocking assn issueing of fishing permits.
Improve picnic areas – install  picnic tables and shelters at Waterside Park   The timing of works will be dependent on securing funding.
Improve picnic areas – install shade shelter over existing picnic table at the Western Boat Ramp   The timing of works will be dependent on securing funding.
Install shade over playground   The timing of works will be dependent on securing funding.
Establish rigging/de-rigging areas at the Eastern and Western Boat Ramps   It is anticipated that this will be implemented by 31 December 2014.
Strangely this was advocated by the stocking assn when the public consultation meetings were held prior to the ramps opening for public use.
Improve on-site signage   Review of existing signage is underway.
Improve access to the trail network by formalizing the trail entry point on Advancetown Road   Investigations currently underway.
Improve paddle craft access   Potential site is currently being investigated at the Western Boat Ramp.
Another suggestion by the stocking assn.
Permit dogs on leash at Picnic Parkland, Pocket Park and on the pathway from Picnic Parkland to the upper car park   To be implemented prior to 1 December 2014.

A decision on the following outcomes will be made at the end of the review process in late 2014:
1)   Introduction of a boating permit scheme for all Seqwater lakes with boating permitted
2)   Change to opening hours to reflect seasonal daylight hours

Cheers
Ray
