Got this photo sent to me.  I don't know all the details, but it came out of the Boyne River.

Nice Toga, it is a shame it was kept.  As far as I have heard and read they are terrible eating.

yeah i kept it.  it is now in pond making freinds with the other broodstock i have just west of gladstone.

hi guys
a few more details on the on the capture of the toga.  it was captured by the GAWB hatchery staff on line in the spillway exclusion zone during my fishery monitoring programme, on a rebel pop R.  3 other fish were sighted in the grass paddies below the spillway during this week.  all fish sampled in this programme are released unharmed unless required for autopsy reasons.  all practices are under permit held by the hatchery.

just a reminder, this area is restricted and heavily patrolled by both gawb and QDPI Fisheries Boating and Patrol.  there is zero tolerance in this area.

Ah sorry dude, I just thought it was a picture of a dead one.  Sorry my apologies.  Good to know it will help to produce more little arrows in the future.
