Alligator weed found in the Namoi River

There are new water weed incursions of alligator weed in the Namoi River in and around Gunnedah, and water hyacinth in the Dumaresq River upstream of Bonshaw weir. If anyone sees either of these weeds or any other suspicious plants they should either contact the NSW Weeds Hotline on 1800 680 244 or email weeds@industry.nsw.gov.au or contact the local council weeds officer.
