Title: Wot a Spot
Post by: dinodadog on September 20, 2010, 07:09:01 AM
Wot a spot North Pine Dam is when the fish decide to play. All though a little lure shy at the moment there are still plenty of fish about on some days and yesterday was one of those days. Covered most aspects of fishing trolling, casting and jigging for little results so switched over to shrimp and what a session. All up 38 bass one 53cm,3x54cmand one 55cm and most of the others in the late 40cm bracket. Fished a spot that has not been to good for quite awhile but something kept calling me back to give it another go and glad I did. I thought Wivenhoe had the widest bass but have a look at some of these.

Fish while you can

Well done,

I was happy getting one over 50 but that is insane, Bet there was a huge grin when you hit pay dirt.  The Bass look super healthy to.  Congrats Brett   ;D

SpinnaB8 & Dodge this used to be normal for NPD
Brett rang the wife from the dam and told her I would not require the happy pills when I got home

I'll have to keep this place in mind for when I get up this way next. I like what yo have been catching lately Dino.
You must be the best fish tagger by now.
How many have you tagged since you started?

Strike me pink ... your arms must be 10 feet long after that haul, and your grin must be nearly the same length. Well done. :OMG

Found a school of fat females sunday morning, ice jigged nearly 40 before the wind chased me. Now they did make my arms and hands hurt.
