We went down for half an hour or so on Monday night. Was pretty close to low tide. Pam got 3 Bass from 30cm to 45cm. All fish were taken on a Yo Zuri Minnow. We fished under the pedestrian bridge, on the city side. Parked at the Riverwalk carpark near St. Mary's. We left when the tide got really low. Pam was happy. Got Pizza Hut for dinner and went home. Civilized fishing.
Crappy iPhone piccy.

Good stuff.
PizzaHut on the way home eh?....... I suppose Brassall has all the major health food shops well represented. KFC is my poison of choice after a fishing session.
Cheers,
Dave.

I myself am a FKC appreciator like your good self Dave, however Pam is not a fan of the Colonels delectible delights. A good BBQ Chicken thick base comes second. We went to the one opposite Hoggies, another personal favorite I may add.

Great work on the Bremer River Bass Pam n Dale. :youbeauty
A shame Jimmy Wah's just up the road closed a while back. They made a pretty mean after-fishing feed. Just never ask if there was cat in the burger..........

Good to see some healthy bass in the river considering the works on the river edge going on

Jimmy wahh burgers and Carlotta's Pizza's
A true loss to the switch

:NiceThread) How easy is it to get down to the water from that car park?
-
Easy as Kevin. Park near the public toilets, walk down the concrete path then cut left. You'll see the path through the long grass under the foot bridge.

Our young fella goes to St Mary's primary. I'm dropping off in the morning. I wonder if my kayak can make it's way onto the roof racks in the morning. :)

My nephew borrowed my Old Town Guide 147 and got 8 Bass up to 48cm today in the Bremer.

Gave the Bremer Bogan Bass a run on Sunday night. Waited until 8pm for the westerly wind to ease up. Put in a few hours off the bank for 10 Bass, could see the threadys working but couldn't entice a hit from them.
I used this lure, a River2Sea Tango Pop

Yeah, I've been having a bit of a fat attack lately, need to purge myself of the Icebreak demons again. Had it with my usual cola chaser though :)
