Devilbend Natural Features Reserve Master Plan
We are now seeking feedback on the Draft Master Plan for the Devilbend Natural Features Reserve.
Parks Victoria assumed management of Devilbend Natural Features Reserve in September 2006 and subsequently prepared the Devilbend Natural Features Reserve Management Plan in May 2010.
A number of strategies and recommendations within this Management Plan have resulted in the need to prepare a Master Plan for proposed visitor facilities within the reserve; including the design and layout of a primary visitor site with associated picnic infrastructure and facilities, a network of trails with links to key features of the reserve, and additional smaller low key visitor nodes.
The Draft Master Plan has taken into consideration a range of matters identified in the Management Plan to plan for visitor sites and key recreational opportunities while minimising the impacts on the surrounding landscapes, flora and fauna, and sites of cultural heritage significance.
The Draft Master Plan is now on public exhibition. See links below for copies of relevant information.
The closing date for submission is Friday 9 September 2011.
