-
got some sqidges 2 soft plastic baits silver and black , have u tryed them?
-
I actually tried some Squidgies out today, the 'Squidgy wriggler Red Gum colour' I cast it at my dads feet because he was standing on a log and I caught a bass literally under his feet. It was only 32cm but still an awesome fish and my first on soft plastics
-
good stuff , ive seen people catch silver fish on those fluro green and orange plastic baits
-
A bunch of worms on the front hook will bring in the mullet.
-
Believe it or not but mullet are awesome to catch on fly , basically fly that looks like a little piece of bread, eaisily made for a beginner fly maker, great fun !!! U can also use bread as burley to maximise your chances .
-
lots of turtles today , about 4 , 2 mullet let all the turtles go
If its not a lizard chasing a surface lure and its a turtle popping up. Worse part is they follow the lure 3/4 to the boat.

A bit curious as to how you are working the popper. It looks like you're sweetening the front hook with some bait of some sort, are you actually working the popper, or casting it out and letting it sit?
-
yawn :popcorn)
-
The poper s used a bit of squid ,cast out and leave ,was after that huge catty or shark , didn t realy mean to catch turtles . and the mullet got them on green n orange diver , a proper hit ,wouldn t mind tryin fly fishin there with red fever
