Title: leslie dam fishing

two families planning a day trip to the dam, do we use the caravan park as a day use area?

If you go to washpool camping reserve to the left of the office/demountable is for camping and to the right is for day use. Other wise it seems most people just set up any where on the edge of the dam for the day. Doesnt seem to be policed very much, Sunwater are not as strict as SEQ water. There is also a ramp opposite the other camp ground  down near the wall end and a lot of day trippers use that as well. Dams getting pretty low.

 Is there enough water to still go boating and fishing , coming from Ipswich, don't want to come all that. Way to puddle?

Yeah i think its around 20%. Still heaps of water, its a big dam.
