hi to all the members  .im after any help regarding trout streams north of tamworth .my mate and I have the cod scene sorted but we are struggling to find any trout .im not after any specifics but any help with names of waters that may produce a few fish would be a great help. cheers..rickmarlin62

You won't find many speckled mountain carp north of Tamworth mate.  Very small numbers of fish in a very few closely guarded areas.  I think you'll have to travel further south.

Obvious choice would be Ebor and Dorrigo areas.

most of the creeks between Ebor and Dorrigo have trout mostly rainbow and some have brown
there is TSR at Coutts water (Nymboida river on map) where it crosses waterfall way is a good starting point
also Styx river has some public access at wattle flat
there is also trout water on the upper Macintyre river upstream of Elsmore
