Something a bit different

Hey guys don't get a chance to post much on here, but having just gotten home from a stint out in channel country i thought id share some pics to mix it up from the usual bass stuff
I wasn't out there to fish but i always keep a few rods in the car just in case. At this particular station some of the stockmen had been there 30 years and never caught a fish so i thought that was a good challenge.
Caught a mix of what i think are either silver perch or barcoo grunter, heaps of small catfish (eel and fork) and got a good feed of yabbies one night as well from only leaving 2 pots in for half an hour

Nice work
I recon the first one is a Golden Perch (Yellowbelly) and the others it's hard to know unless you can tell us the river/creek system you were on. There's not much difference between a Silver Perch, Barcoo Grunter and Welch's Grunter.
That's one good haul of yabbies there.
Bet they went down well.

A lot of the Yell'as in that country a more silver than Yellow. The water they live in is usually too thick to navigate and too thin to cultivate. I think they get around with a white stick! Good country tho.
