Mildura's lock 11 open for business

Mildura's lock 11 will reopen to the public this weekend following extensive maintenance and refurbishment works over the winter season.

Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) Manager Dams Martina Cusack said the lock and adjacent recreational park are now open for business.

"GMW and the MDBA thank the Mildura community and river users for their cooperation and patience during this time," Ms Cusack said.

"Repairs to the concrete trestleway on the bed of the river have also been successfully completed.

"These works are critical part of the lock and weir maintenance to ensure the longevity and reliability of the assets and can continue to contribute to the local community and economy."
