Went out fishing again in the bremer river this morning. Caught 5 bass ranging from 32cm-44cm (A new PB) ;D. Enjoyed the fishing even more because I set myself some goals based on the shocker I had the day before. I did manage to catch one bass yesterday, but i also dropped 7 others. Lost 4 lures. ....and just generally had a murphy's day all round. Nearly went for a swim trying to launch! :)) So I went out with a heavier leader (which came in handy for one of the bigger fellas who dragged me into a snag, and I still managed to land him) ...and regularly checked it for abrasions. I also focused on making my casts count (Getting it into the sweetspot and no treetops). Ended up being a fun morning all round. Fun week really. Managed to fish 3 days in a row. All before work. Doesn't get much better that. :)

Great work Mark. Onwards and upwards. Congrats on the new PB. :Clap)

Congrats on the PB Mark, plus turning a shocker of a day into a learning experiance to catch more bass the next day.
Cheers

Well done Mark on taking up the challenge of the day before, and was well worth your efforts.

Nice one, congrats on the pb. I usually don't use under 20lb leader in the case they get me around some timber. But sometimes I take the silly 4lb string for some fun.
Think I may have to head down one arvo this week... getting the itch again :thumbsup
