Hinze Dam re-opens to water-based recreation Sunday 22 February 2015
DATE: 22/02/2015 - Seqwater
Hinze Dam (Advancetown Lake) was reopened to water-based recreation at 7.30am on Sunday 22 February 2015.
The Eastern Boat Ramp and the Western Boat Ramp recreation areas have both been re-opened.
The main parklands near the dam wall with the Visitor Centre remain open to the public from 6am to 6pm daily.
Seqwater urges caution for all visitors – bear in mind that conditions at the lake have changed as a result of the recent rain event.
Our staff will check conditions at other Seqwater lakes, and we will reopen the lakes to recreation as soon as we can.
