Hummingbird Sounder
« on: September 29, 2010, 10:26:09 PM »
Hey Guys,

Am I right in thinking that when I see the picture below on my sounder it means I have multiple good sized fish below me ? I was on the drift in the horse paddock at Wivenhoe today. Would love to target the bass better other than by trolling. Trolling always seems to hook me more fish though. Any thoughts...???

Cheers,
Dave.

Sure is fish Dave. Each line is a fish, tho there could well be more, that's just what is sitting in the beam at the time.

I'd be happy seeing a screen like that.

That Screen says "Blade Time" to me.

Work out what depth the bass are by looking at the screen, drop the blade to that depth and start jigging. If you are stationary you will see the blade on the screen going through the fish.

Other lures too would work, Jackalls, Mask Vibes, Ice jigs....the list goes on.

Cheers
