From noon Tuesday, 5 February 2013, the following lakes will have been re-opened to water-based recreation activities:
Lake Maroon – re-opened to all permitted water-based recreation activities
Lake Macdonald – re-opened to all permitted water-based recreation activities
Ewen Maddock Dam – re-opened to all permitted water-based recreation activities
Baroon Pocket Dam – re-opened to boating, kayaking and canoeing, (swimming area remains closed)
Lake Kurwongbah – re-opened to rowing (lake remains closed to water-skiing)
Lake Wivenhoe – re-opened to all permitted water-based recreation activities
Lake Atkinson – re-opened to all permitted water-based recreation activities
Lake Dyer (Bill Gunn Dam) – re-opened to all permitted water-based recreation activities
Lake Samsonvale (North Pine Dam) – re-opened to all permitted water-based recreation activities
The following lakes remain temporarily CLOSED to water-based recreation activities:
Lake Somerset
Lake Moogerah
Wyaralong Dam
Hinze Dam (Advancetown Lake)
Lake Borumba
