Robson's at again
« on: November 03, 2011, 08:33:30 PM »
Anyone have a look at Robson Green's Extreme Fishing tonight? He went to the Amazon and it was pretty good, although I thought the Peacock Bass were a little on the small side. He had and fish there the name of which I can't recall but it looked a lot likie a Saratoga but on steriods. Big difference was that it breaths air. The bloke he was with was harpooning them. No catch and release in the Amazon. I'd love to see Robson and Paul Worstelling try to have a conversation, you'd never get a word in edgeways.

fishing is not essential to life, it's much more important

Yep, that was it.  He's a very down to earth guy and goes off when he catches a fish.  A friend spent some time with him in PNG and enjoyed his company.  I was talking to Fitz on the phone while we watched this, and he was less than enthusiastic about his favorite fish being harpooned though.
