Went for a drive on Tuesday to wet a line in the Condamine River. Seen a lot of dead boney bream. One local said it was normal due to winter months and / or cold water.
That's a bit odd I thought. In my trips with Rayke I've never seen any dead boney bream. I have not taken any photos of dead fish.
Is there any truth to what this person stated or is there something else causing this mortality?
Here is three photos taken, Working railway line in the background. Might be freight line.
Also noticed some debrie from the last flood that Warwick had, stuck hard and fast under one of the road bridges that crosses the Condamine River.
Needless to say, I never caught anything using garden worms and not familiar with that area landbased.
Cheers, Bondy
